About the role
George Mason University seeks an IT Product Manager to lead technology projects from definition through adoption within Information Technology Services, applying project delivery, product management, and business analysis to ensure solutions meet customer needs and are operationally ready.
What you’ll do
Lead IT projects from definition through adoption
Apply project delivery, product management, and business analysis practices
Ensure solutions meet customer needs and are operationally ready
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and decision-making across technical and nontechnical groups
Manage scope, schedule, risk, issues, changes, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
Produce project documentation, process maps, requirements, executive updates, and status reports
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in related field
3+ years coordinating or managing multi-stakeholder projects
Experience defining requirements, process analysis, backlog/work planning, and readiness activities
Experience delivering technology-enabled projects to operational teams and end users
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and hybrid delivery models
Ability to use collaboration, project tracking, documentation, and presentation tools
