ERock is hiring a mid-level Software Engineer to build and evolve C#/.NET backend services on Azure for distributed energy and smart-grid solutions. This hybrid Houston-based role involves processing edge-device telemetry, maintaining applications and dashboards, and collaborating across software, hardware, data science, and engineering teams.
What you’ll do
Build and evolve C#/.NET backend services on Azure
Process telemetry from edge devices
Maintain internal applications and dashboards
Diagnose end-to-end issues across systems
Collaborate across software, hardware, data science, and engineering teams
Write design notes and runbooks
What you’ll need
3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proficiency with C#/.NET and object-oriented design
Experience building cloud applications; Azure strongly preferred
Working knowledge of REST APIs and relational databases
Based in the Greater Houston area and able to work a hybrid schedule, including time on the factory floor
