About the role
Crown Innovations is seeking an Aviation Software Verification & Test Engineer to verify and certify safety-critical aviation navigation systems, developing and executing requirements-based tests while supporting DO-178C compliance and avionics hardware/software integration.
What you’ll do
Develop and execute requirements-based software and system tests
Support DO-178C compliance and avionics hardware/software integration
Produce certification evidence
Analyze software and system requirements and translate them into verification activities
Perform functional, system, integration, or performance testing of avionics systems
Support avionics certification and testing activities
What you’ll need
Minimum eight years of software development, verification, testing, or related engineering experience
Minimum five years of Java development experience
Direct professional experience using SCADE
Direct experience supporting DO-178C software development, verification, testing, or certification
Experience testing avionics systems in conjunction with hardware and supporting certification
Must be a U.S. Citizen
