About the role
Lila Sciences is looking for an experienced technical recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for AI/ML research and engineering roles. The recruiter will partner with research leadership, tap into the ML research community, and use agentic recruiting workflows to scale hiring for the company's AI-driven scientific platform.
What you’ll do
Lead full-cycle recruiting for AI research and engineering roles
Identify, engage, and hire researchers and engineers for Lila's AI-driven platform
Develop talent strategies in partnership with research leadership
Build and maintain relationships in the ML research community
Strengthen recruiting processes and employer brand
Use agentic recruiting tools and workflows to improve candidate discovery
What you’ll need
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting technical research teams
Proven track record recruiting AI/ML research talent
Strong existing network in the ML research community (NeurIPS, ICML, top CS/ML programs)
Ability to attract passive candidates and scale a high-performing technical hiring function
Strong technical aptitude, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable operating with autonomy
Experience with agentic recruiting tools/workflows, deep-tech/frontier AI organizations, and international recruiting
