About the role
Hex seeks a senior cloud security engineer to lead cloud security practices, strengthen AWS-based infrastructure and Kubernetes environments, and partner with engineering teams on security controls, incident response, compliance, and mentorship.

What you’ll need
5+ years of cloud security engineering experience with extensive AWS expertise
Proficiency with Kubernetes security including cluster hardening, RBAC, network policies, and container vulnerability management
Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Terraform
Familiarity with AWS security services, CNAPP solutions such as Wiz, and SIEM solutions such as Panther
Solid understanding of secure SDLC, CI/CD security, and DevSecOps methodologies
Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CKS, Terraform Associate, or SANS/OffSec are desirable
