About the role
Williams-Sonoma is hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead inventory management and retail planning product strategy, roadmaps, and delivery. The role requires deep retail planning expertise, strong cross-functional leadership, and experience modernizing planning capabilities with AI and advanced analytics.
What you’ll do
Lead product discovery, roadmaps, and delivery across inventory management and retail planning
Partner with business, engineering, and analytics teams to improve planning and inventory productivity
Translate complex business processes and customer needs into product strategy, epics, and acceptance criteria
Use data, business metrics, and financial impact to shape product decisions and measure outcomes
Identify and prioritize high-value AI-enabled capabilities
Modernize manual planning processes into scalable, system-enabled capabilities
What you’ll need
10+ years of related experience in product management, inventory management, or supply chain
Deep understanding of retail planning and inventory management
Strong product management discipline with experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
Strong analytical and business orientation
Experience applying AI, machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics
Experience in large-scale, omnichannel retail environments strongly preferred
