About the role
Grainger's Frictionless Group is hiring a Senior Manager of Business Operations & Strategy to translate business strategy into coordinated plans and measurable results. This role partners with the President and functional leaders to lead cross-functional initiatives, strengthen operating discipline, and build repeatable workflows that support scale.

What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years in strategy, business operations, management consulting, program/project management, or general management
Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and adapting communication to executive audiences
Experience creating end-to-end project plans to solve complex business problems, from evaluation to delivery
Developed annual operating plans, operating cadences, KPIs, and repeatable workflows; leveraged business intelligence and workflow tools
Knowledge of appropriate practices for handling confidential financial and personnel information
