About the role
PayJoy is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Trust and Safety product strategy, focusing on fraud prevention and detection through ML-powered decisioning and identity verification. The role partners with cross-functional teams to reduce losses while protecting customer conversion, with an emphasis on emerging markets.
What you’ll do
Own Trust and Safety product strategy and roadmap
Deliver ML-powered fraud prevention and detection products
Partner with engineering, data science, fraud operations, and compliance
Implement identity verification, monitoring, and automation solutions
Protect customer conversion while reducing fraud losses
What you’ll need
6+ years of product management experience, including 2–3 years in fraud, risk, trust and safety, or payments
Proven track record shipping fraud prevention or risk products that reduce losses without killing conversion
Strong technical fluency in ML models, AI/LLM applications, API design, data pipelines, and real-time decisioning
Hands-on SQL skills and data-driven decision-making
Experience with fraud tools, device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, identity verification, and AML/KYC
Fluency in Spanish and experience with emerging markets fraud patterns
