About the role
Goldman Sachs seeks an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join its Global Banking & Markets Cloud Platform team, advising on architecture strategy, leading governance, and driving adoption of innovative cloud solutions.
What you’ll do
Advise on architecture strategy
Lead governance for cloud platform initiatives
Drive adoption of innovative cloud solutions
Evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions
Lead safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities across architecture workflows
What you’ll need
10+ years of relevant technical experience including at least 5 years hands-on with AWS
Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Deep expertise across infrastructure architecture areas including ITSM, monitoring, cloud compute and storage, and network and systems administration
Demonstrated experience influencing across functions and teams to deliver modern architecture
Expertise in operational automation, event intelligence, and self-healing workflows
Familiarity with financial-services regulatory and control frameworks and prior finance industry experience
