About the role
Zoox is hiring a Senior/Staff Technical Program Manager to lead automation and scaling efforts across simulation, cloud infrastructure, and pipeline tooling. The role focuses on accelerating software validation and releases while preserving safety and quality through CI/CD, AI/ML, and distributed systems.
What you’ll do
Scale simulation and cloud infrastructure for validation
Manage automated triage and metrics pipelines
Accelerate software releases while ensuring safety and quality
Drive CI/CD and continuous delivery improvements
Oversee release qualification and V&V activities
Apply AI/ML to automate engineering workflows
What you’ll need
8+ years in software engineering/TPM with strong software background
Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS/related field or equivalent
Proven track record with CI/CD, test, data, or triage automation
Hands-on AWS and large-scale distributed compute/data systems
Experience with simulation platforms, virtual validation, or synthetic data in AV/robotics
Proven ability to influence technical experts and communicate decisions
