About the role
Develops and supports Ignition applications for manufacturing process control and data collection at an aerospace casting foundry, collaborating across engineering, operations, and IT teams.
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain Ignition applications
Support manufacturing process control and error proofing
Partner with engineering, operations, quality, IT, and database teams
Trace data across equipment inputs, application logic, and SQL tables
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Implement test plans and release verification
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, IT or equivalent practical experience
At least 5 years of relevant automation or industrial software experience
Proficiency with Ignition Designer, Python/Jython scripting, and SQL
Experience with relational databases and data validation
Familiarity with PLC signals, OPC communications, and industrial networks
U.S. person status required due to export-controlled technology
