About the role
Tech Observer is hiring an AWS Infrastructure Architect to lead cloud and platform engineering work, designing and managing AWS infrastructure, container platforms, automation, security, and operational improvements while guiding the Cloud Engineering team.
What you’ll do
Design and manage AWS infrastructure and platform architecture
Oversee container platforms and containerized workloads
Implement automation, security, and operational improvements
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers
Translate business and client requirements into technical solutions
Manage stakeholders and document technical solutions
What you’ll need
15+ years overall experience with 8+ years in Cloud/AWS Engineering, Platform Engineering, and DevOps
7+ years with EKS/ECS, containerized workloads, CloudFormation, Terraform/IaC, and Ansible
7+ years with EC2, ASG, AMI, ECR, S3, Lambda, IAM, SSM, AWS Control Tower, Cognito, Route 53, and Secrets Manager
Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation skills
Comfortable working with distributed and global teams
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently
