About the role
Hexaware Technologies is seeking a hands-on SDET lead to unify testing practices and drive quality across a program with over 20 microservices and four product teams, blending test strategy with automation engineering, CI/CD integration, and reporting.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks
Build API test suites using Rest Assured, Karate, Postman, and Bruno
Develop data-driven and keyword-driven frameworks in Java using OOP and design patterns
Write complex SQL and NoSQL queries for backend data validation across relational and non-relational databases
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
Build UI test suites using Playwright
What you’ll need
9-15 years of experience
Hands-on SDET and test automation engineering experience
Strong Java programming and framework design skills
Experience with API test automation tools and frameworks
Experience with SQL/NoSQL database validation
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
