About the role
Crusoe is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to own and modernize corporate Microsoft infrastructure across offices, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and data centers. The role combines hands-on server operations, cloud migrations, roadmap ownership, incident escalation, and technical mentorship.
What you’ll do
Own and modernize corporate Microsoft infrastructure across offices, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and data centers
Perform hands-on server operations and cloud migrations
Own the infrastructure roadmap and set technical direction
Lead incident escalation and provide technical mentorship
Handle physical server work including racking, cabling, and firmware
Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and incident response for production systems
What you’ll need
10+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience including current Windows Server environments
Track record migrating production servers and applications from on-premises to cloud
Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM) and PowerShell/CLI scripting
Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration, including identity provider integration
Experience owning backup, disaster recovery, and incident response for production systems
