About the role
Apptronik is hiring a Senior Director of Product Security to establish and lead the security strategy for its Apollo humanoid robots. The role will build monitoring and incident response programs and partner across engineering, suppliers, and customers to protect robots throughout development and deployment.
What you’ll do
Set product security strategy and requirements for Apollo humanoid robots
Build and lead the end-to-end security function and team
Establish security monitoring and incident response programs
Partner with engineering, suppliers, and customers on security
Manage budget and define team structure
Protect robots throughout development and deployment
What you’ll need
12+ years in security engineering or product security with 5+ years leading security organizations
Experience building a security discipline in an emerging hardware or physical-AI domain
Deep expertise securing embedded systems, robotics, autonomous vehicles, or physical-AI products
Hands-on knowledge of secure boot, firmware security, key management, and network/application security
Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and supply chain risk management
Familiarity with OTA update security and relevant frameworks such as ITAR, EAR, IEC 62443, NIST, OWASP, and CWE
