About the role

What you’ll do

• Own integration and performance of IVI, OTA, connectivity, and diagnostic software in manufacturing
• Support launch readiness and ongoing vehicle production at Louisville Assembly Plant
• Resolve process issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot across hardware-software-network boundaries in a production environment
• Translate plant-floor issues into engineering requirements and vice versa
• Collaborate with line workers, technicians, and cross-functional engineers

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in automotive embedded/vehicle software or high-volume manufacturing integration with direct exposure to IVI, telematics, or connected vehicle systems
• Strong understanding of OTA update architecture, including campaign orchestration, ECU flashing sequences, and rollback/failure handling
• Experience with vehicle diagnostic protocols and hands-on plant-floor systems such as flashing stations, end-of-line test systems, and MES/PLC interfaces
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills across hardware-software-network boundaries in a production environment
• Experience with Android Automotive, QNX, or Linux IVI platforms; scripting/automation in Python/Shell; and knowledge of software release management, version control, and CI/CD
