About the role
Diligent Tec is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for an onsite, long-term contract role in Chicago to design and deploy enterprise-grade AI and generative AI solutions, with a focus on LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and vector/graph engineering.
What you’ll do
Design and develop enterprise-grade AI and generative AI solutions
Deploy LLM-based solutions using RAG and agentic AI
Engineer vector and graph data systems
Provide technical leadership for AI initiatives
Integrate and scale Azure AI services
What you’ll need
Expert-level Python and proficient SQL
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agents
Knowledge of vector search, semantic/hybrid search, and embeddings
Proficiency with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or Hugging Face
Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure AI Services
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
