About the role
Premier Group Services is hiring an Audit Engagement Lead to manage external financial audits for nonprofit and government clients, lead audit staff, and ensure compliance. This remote, full-time role requires relevant experience and proficiency with audit and office software.
What you’ll do
Manage audit engagements from planning through completion
Lead and develop audit staff
Support clients throughout the audit process
Ensure regulatory compliance
Manage multiple engagements and priorities effectively
What you’ll need
3+ years of recent and relevant nonprofit and government external financial audit experience
2+ years leading engagements in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations and GAGAS
Strong written, verbal, organizational, and time-management skills
Experience with QuickBooks, AuditFile, or similar software
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Master's Degree in Accounting or certifications such as CPA, CGFM, or CFE
