About the role
McKesson is hiring a Director, Technical & Platform Product Management to lead the strategy, development, launch, and adoption of data capabilities for its pharmacy technology platform. The role owns the data product backlog and roadmap, partners with engineering, and measures data quality, reliability, adoption, and business value.
What you’ll do
Lead strategy, development, launch, and adoption of data capabilities for the pharmacy technology platform
Own the data product backlog and roadmap
Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver data products
Measure data quality, reliability, adoption, and business value
Manage platform interfaces through versioning, backward compatibility, migration planning, dependency management, or deprecation
Launch pilot or beta programs with defined user groups and measurable success criteria
What you’ll need
10+ years of progressive product management experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS, platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing technology products
Experience leading at least one technically complex platform or product from concept through production launch and adoption
Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, success measures, and adoption plans for technical data products
Hands-on experience with API specifications, SQL/Python, logs/telemetry, or lightweight technical prototypes
Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake environments and their AI/ML features
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent relevant professional experience
