Mercer Advisors is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build a trusted data foundation for wealth advisors, client service teams, and firm leaders. The role co-owns transformation and semantic layers and enables reliable self-service analytics.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain a modern, trusted data foundation for wealth advisors, client service teams, and firm leaders
Co-own transformation and semantic layers
Establish reliable data products and engineering practices
Partner with stakeholders to enable trusted self-service analytics
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence development
Advanced SQL with query optimization and dimensional modeling
Production dbt experience with modular design, testing, documentation, macros, and incremental models
Experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable cloud data platform, plus strong Power BI including DAX and RLS
Working knowledge of Python, Git/CI/CD, data quality/observability, governance, and AI-enabled analytics tools
