About the role
SandboxAQ seeks a Principal Technical Product Manager to own the Data Platform for its AI Simulation division, leading the platform roadmap and knowledge graph strategy while covering data ingestion, governance, partner sharing, and experiment-integration APIs. What you’ll do
Build and own the Data Platform supporting the scientific discovery platform
Lead the platform roadmap and knowledge graph strategy
Cover data ingestion, provenance, governance, partner data sharing, and experiment-integration APIs
What you’ll need
5+ years in product management with depth in data platforms or data governance
Hands-on familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, data catalogs, and provenance/lineage tracking
Track record designing developer-facing data APIs and ingestion tooling
Experience defining data governance controls — access, sensitivity classification, and purpose/field-of-use restrictions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Familiarity with scientific data formats, federated learning, regulated data governance, and drug-discovery/materials-research data lifecycles
