About the role
Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a Staff Accountant for a growing real estate investment firm to support daily accounting operations including payables, receivables, reconciliations, journal entries, close activities, and financial reporting.
What you’ll do
Support day-to-day accounting for the management company and related entities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform reconciliations
Prepare journal entries
Support month-end close activities
Assist with financial reporting
What you’ll need
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2-4 years of corporate accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle
Hands-on experience with AR/AP, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations
Experience with Concur or a similar expense management platform
Proficient in Excel
