About the role
TotalEnergies is hiring a Technology Advisor to own solution architecture for gas and power trading applications and guide technology teams. The role leads design, integration, and delivery while ensuring systems meet business, regulatory, security, and enterprise standards.
What you’ll do
Own solution architecture for gas and power trading applications
Lead solution design and integration
Support trading initiatives and project delivery
Ensure systems meet business, regulatory, security, and enterprise standards
Advise across technology teams
Provide mentorship to architects, engineers, and project teams
What you’ll need
5+ years of hands-on experience within energy trading organizations
Deep expertise in U.S. power markets including trading, risk, scheduling, settlements, and energy management
Comprehensive knowledge of IT architecture, software development, and systems integration
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
Ability to define and communicate a strategic technology vision
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
