About the role
Northern Trust seeks a Product Manager to drive the strategy, delivery, and evolution of digital payment capabilities across Wealth Management, focusing on Money Movement products like ACH, wires, and transfers. The role balances client needs with regulatory, fraud, and operational requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
What you’ll do
Support strategy, development, delivery, and evolution of digital payment capabilities
Manage payment products and client journeys, translating client and business needs into product requirements and delivery plans
Balance experience, reliability, operational efficiency, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements
Develop epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, and process flows
Collaborate across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, Design, and Client Service
Manage multiple priorities and dependencies while maintaining focus on delivery quality, risk, controls, and client outcomes
What you’ll need
4+ years in product management, product development, payments, digital banking, or related discipline
Knowledge of banking and payment products including ACH, wires, account transfers, bill payments
Experience across product development lifecycle from discovery to post-launch support
Strong requirements-management skills and familiarity with fraud prevention and regulatory requirements
Experience in Agile environments and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or Miro
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
