About the role

What you’ll do

• Drive requirements, system architecture, performance analysis, and functional safety work for lidar products and variants
• Translate customer and product needs into verifiable requirements
• Analyze system performance against targets and define KPIs
• Document architecture and interfaces, including hardware/software partitioning and interface control documents
• Support safety and cybersecurity activities from concept through production
• Collaborate with architecture, hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical teams to resolve interface issues

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Mechatronics, or related field
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience on optoelectronic/sensor products, preferably lidar or active depth sensing
• Strong requirements engineering skills: clear verifiable requirements, decomposition, and traceability
• Hands-on experience with requirements management tools and MBSE/architecture modeling tools
• Strong physics grounding in lasers, device physics, optics, and signal processing, with understanding of system design aspects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, V-Model, ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AEC-Q, with preferred M.S./Ph.D. or full lifecycle sensor development experience
