About the role
State Street seeks a Head of AI Transformation to lead enterprise-wide AI adoption across Charles River Development's engineering and SaaS operations, setting strategy for improving delivery, quality, support, and governance while driving measurable business value.
What you’ll do
Set and execute AI transformation strategy across engineering and SaaS operations
Improve software delivery and product quality
Transform SaaS support and operations
Establish governance, workforce capabilities, and measurable business-value reporting
Lead AI-enabled software development, testing, operational support, or automation adoption
Build alignment across multiple organizations and influence senior technology and business leaders
What you’ll need
15+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, SaaS operations, engineering productivity, DevOps, SRE, or related technology leadership roles
5+ years leading engineering organizations or enterprise transformation initiatives
Experience leading enterprise-wide adoption of AI-enabled software development, quality engineering, or operational support practices
Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices: cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, platform engineering, and SRE
Familiarity with GenAI platforms, engineering copilots, agent frameworks, MCP ecosystems, AI orchestration, LLMs, vector databases, and AI infrastructure
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred
