About the role
Early Warning is hiring a Senior Director of Cloud Engineering to define cloud strategy and lead teams building and operating scalable AWS-based platforms. This leader is accountable for platform performance, security, cost, and business outcomes while driving DevOps and SRE practices.
What you’ll do

Lead and mentor cloud engineering teams
Own platform performance, security, cost, and user outcomes
Oversee cross-functional cloud execution spanning architecture, DevOps, and operations
Integrate cloud capabilities with business priorities
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in computer information systems/computer science or equivalent experience
15+ years managing complex cloud infrastructure, including 8+ years in leadership
Extensive experience designing and managing scalable AWS solutions
Cross-functional cloud experience in architecture, security, implementation, DevOps, and operations
Familiarity with DevOps and SRE best practices for velocity and reliability
Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
