About the role
GDIT is looking for a Senior UI/UX Developer to build secure, accessible React-based interfaces for federal financial applications, with a focus on workflow-driven UX and technical leadership.
What you’ll do
Build secure, accessible React interfaces and workflow-driven user experiences
Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams
Map clients' business processes into effective UX designs
Integrate RESTful APIs with secure data-handling and validation
Create performant, user-friendly interfaces for reconciliation and exception management
Collaborate with product, QA, backend, and infrastructure teams
What you’ll need
10+ years of experience in UI/UX development
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SPA architecture
Expertise in modern CSS, responsive design, and component-driven development
Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, ARIA, and semantic HTML
Experience with enterprise-grade workflows such as reconciliation and exception management
