About the role
UL Solutions seeks a Senior Consultant to lead functional safety activities for automotive and complex safety-related systems, including developing safety work products, performing analyses, and advising and training customers on ISO 26262-compliant development.
What you’ll do
Lead functional safety activities for automotive and other complex safety-related systems
Develop and review safety work products
Conduct safety analyses and assessments
Advise customers on ISO 26262-compliant development
Train customers on ISO 26262-compliant development
Independently lead technical discussions with customers and engineering teams
What you’ll need
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
5+ years of experience in automotive functional safety
Strong working knowledge of ISO 26262 and the functional safety lifecycle
Hands-on experience in embedded software, electronic system, hardware, or product development
Experience developing functional safety work products including HARA, safety concepts, safety requirements, FMEA, and FTA
Experience with ADAS, automated driving, chassis systems, battery management systems, or electrified vehicle platforms
