About the role
Uber seeks a Lead Product Manager to define platform requirements and integration standards for autonomous vehicle partners, driving commercialization at scale. The role involves cross-functional leadership, OEM collaboration, and system-level product trade-offs across hardware and software.
What you’ll do
Define autonomous vehicle platform requirements and integration standards
Drive commercialization readiness for autonomy partners
Collaborate with engineering, vehicle strategy, operations, design, OEMs, and autonomy partners
Manage milestones, validation, and release for complex hardware products
Represent technical requirements with senior internal teams and external partners
Travel up to 40% to work closely with OEMs and partners
What you’ll need
Experience building and launching complex hardware or vehicle products from prototype through production
Experience working directly with OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers
Strong technical fluency in vehicle systems and architecture
Proven ability to independently own ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, vehicle architecture, or related technical field
