About the role
ThinKuvate seeks a Vice President to lead its AI Center of Excellence, defining and driving AI strategy across portfolio companies and internal operations. The role encompasses evaluating AI investments, advising portfolio companies, building the AI team, and establishing governance and responsible AI frameworks.
What you’ll do
Define and lead AI strategy across the firm's portfolio and internal operations
Establish AI frameworks, tools, and standards
Evaluate AI investment opportunities
Advise portfolio companies on AI initiatives
Build the AI team and governance practices
What you’ll need
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science, including algorithms, data modeling, and scalable system design
Expertise in Pattern Recognition and Natural Language Processing applied to real-world products or platforms
Advanced analytics skills including statistical analysis, experimentation, and business translation
Proven track record leading AI or data science teams in technology, venture capital, or startup environments
Experience defining AI strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks, including ethical and responsible AI practices
Proficiency with modern AI/ML tools and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud-based ML services
