About the role
Upstart is looking for a Senior Compliance Associate to manage the full compliance issue lifecycle, including issue tracking, remediation validation, and trend analysis. The role works with Compliance, Risk, Audit, Legal, and business teams to strengthen oversight and regulatory readiness.

What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
3+ years in compliance, issue management, audit, or risk management within banking or financial services
Experience supporting the lifecycle of compliance, risk, audit, or regulatory issues
Experience reviewing remediation plans, milestones, documentation, or closure evidence
Knowledge of second-line compliance oversight and issue management frameworks
Experience with GRC platforms or issue management systems and analyzing issue aging and root causes
