About the role
CBTS seeks a Staff AI Operations Engineer to build and support AI/ML-driven operational capabilities for Technology Operations, focusing on observability, event correlation, anomaly detection, alert noise reduction, incident automation, and analytics. The role requires deep SRE/observability experience and hands-on Generative AI and Agentic AI implementation in regulated environments.
What you’ll do
Implement, optimize, and support AI/ML-enabled operational capabilities
Improve reliability, performance, and efficiency of Technology Operations
Focus on observability platforms, event correlation, and anomaly detection
Reduce alert noise and automate incident response
Deliver operational analytics in partnership with technology operations teams
What you’ll need
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
At least one cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
8-10 years in Technology Operations, SRE, Observability, Cloud Ops, or AI Operations
Experience implementing Generative AI and Agentic AI in regulated enterprise environments
Experience building, deploying, and managing AI agents and agent-based workflows in production
Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and SRE tools and practices
