About the role
Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and support enterprise-scale full-stack applications, working across user interfaces, APIs, and cloud-native services. The role involves Agile collaboration, technical mentorship, and driving DevOps and reliability practices.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications across front-end and back-end
Architect and implement end-to-end solutions using modern frameworks, APIs, databases, and cloud-native services
Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
Develop, deploy, and support solutions on AWS and Azure
Drive adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring
Perform code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and troubleshoot production issues
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience, or Master's degree plus 1 year, as a Senior Full Stack Engineer
Experience developing UIs, Java middle-tier, and PL/SQL back-end using Agile or Scrum
Expertise in Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and back-end Java/Node.js
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment
Expertise in RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, OAuth, and Python
Expertise in Oracle database systems, normalization, and query tuning
