About the role
Applaudo is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability and continuous improvement across cloud, Kubernetes-based edge systems, CI/CD, networking, and device management. The role supports a global quick-service restaurant brand's infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
What you’ll do
Own reliability and continuous improvement across cloud platforms, Kubernetes-based restaurant edge systems, CI/CD pipelines, networking, device management, and operational automation
Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures, primarily on AWS
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD
Define and operate against SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
Lead incident response and blameless post-incident reviews
Build internal tooling and API integrations
What you’ll need
6+ years in IT infrastructure, including 3+ years in SRE, cloud architecture, or platform engineering
Hands-on AWS experience and working Azure experience
Strong Kubernetes expertise, including edge or distributed deployments
Experience with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and automation scripting in Python, Bash, or Go
Experience with enterprise networking, switches, VLANs, and MDM platforms
Experience defining and operating against SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
