About the role
Optomi is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer Lead for a global client in Bethesda, MD. The role leads reliability, availability, and performance initiatives across Linux and AWS environments, coordinating with globally distributed engineering teams.
What you’ll do
Lead a designated application domain's reliability initiatives
Improve reliability, availability, and performance across Linux and AWS environments
Coordinate with globally distributed engineering teams
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and prioritize incidents
Support large-scale enterprise applications in AWS environments
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and onshore/offshore teams
What you’ll need
Proven experience in an SRE or reliability-focused engineering role
Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems
Experience supporting and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
Strong understanding of system reliability, application performance, monitoring, and incident management
Experience with PCS Linux environments, Dino Trace, and Harness CI/CD pipelines
Experience leading or coordinating offshore engineering teams
