About the role
General Motors seeks a Portfolio Manager to lead prioritization, execution oversight, and performance management across its Enterprise Data & AI Governance, Privacy Engineering, Enablement, and Literacy portfolio. The role aligns investments and roadmaps with enterprise priorities while advancing adoption of trusted, governed, AI-ready data.
What you’ll do
Lead portfolio prioritization and execution oversight
Align investments, roadmaps, resources, and outcomes with enterprise priorities
Drive adoption of trusted, governed, AI-ready data
Manage competing priorities across multiple teams and initiatives
Develop metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting
Support enterprise transformation and platform modernization
What you’ll need
8+ years in portfolio management, program management, product management, or technology strategy
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related)
Experience leading complex cross-functional technology or governance initiatives
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in Data Governance, AI Governance, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, or Enterprise Data Management
Familiarity with modern data and AI platforms such as Databricks, Atlan, Immuta, or Anomalo
