What you’ll do
Improve observability, reliability, and safety of distributed production systems
Build automation and infrastructure practices
Partner with product engineering teams to strengthen reliability across cloud infrastructure, microservices, APIs, and integrations
Turn operational knowledge into reusable platforms, automation, and telemetry standards
Lead or support incident response and blameless post-mortems
Reduce toil and improve the developer and operator experience
What you’ll need
5+ years supporting web applications, APIs, or distributed production environments
2+ years of on-call experience in a 24/7 cloud production environment
Experience improving observability practices including metrics, logging, tracing, and SLOs
2+ years managing modern cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
Proficiency in Python, Go, Ruby, Java, or a comparable language
Experience with infrastructure as code and automated delivery practices
