About the role
ŌURA is seeking a Technical Revenue Accounting and Policy Manager to own its global ASC 606 revenue policy framework, provide accounting conclusions on complex contracts, and support revenue close activities while building scalable processes and automation.
What you’ll do
Maintain global ASC 606 revenue policy framework
Provide accounting conclusions on complex contracts
Support revenue close activities
Develop scalable processes, documentation, and automation opportunities
What you’ll need
7+ years of progressive accounting experience including revenue recognition under ASC 606
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 including performance obligations, variable consideration, contract modifications, principal vs agent, and standalone selling price
Experience in technology, consumer products, subscription, or recurring revenue environments
Experience reviewing contracts and documenting accounting conclusions
Strong technical writing skills for accounting memos and policy documentation
Comfort reading and interpreting contracts including non-standard terms
