About the role
This contract Business Systems Analyst role is based in New York with a hybrid work arrangement, supporting enterprise technology initiatives across Legal, Safety, and Risk platforms. The consultant will focus on requirements definition, backlog management, integrations, Agile delivery, testing, and deployment readiness.
What you’ll do
Support discovery and requirements definition for enterprise technology initiatives
Create and manage business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Document current and future state process flows, data mappings, and integration requirements
Manage product delivery using JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, and Confluence
Support testing, deployment readiness, and Agile delivery
Collaborate across business, technology, vendor, and leadership stakeholders
What you’ll need
Experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Technical Business Analysis, or Product Delivery
Experience creating and managing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping, and integration requirements
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery practices, and enterprise application implementations
Experience with product delivery tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, and Confluence
Experience analyzing enterprise integrations including REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, SFTP, middleware, and batch interfaces
Experience with data analysis concepts including SQL, Oracle Databases, data validation, ETL, and data migration
