About the role
ATW is hiring an IT Architect to lead AI enablement and Azure solution design, delivering AI agents and establishing architecture and security standards while coaching teams to build AI tools within guardrails.
What you’ll do
Lead AI enablement and Azure solution design across engineering and business
Deliver AI agents that automate real work
Establish architecture and security standards
Coach teams in building AI tools within approved guardrails
Lead code reviews and set coding standards for development teams including vendors
Help non-technical employees adopt AI and build their own tools
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
7+ years software engineering experience with at least 2 years as architect/technical lead
Proven record delivering AI agents automating real work
Hands-on MCP server building with authentication and permissions
Strong knowledge of LLM patterns including prompt design, tool calling, RAG, agent orchestration, and evaluation
Production experience with Azure AI Foundry/OpenAI, Functions, Container Apps, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure DevOps, and Application Insights using .NET or Python
