NetJets seeks a mid-level Software Engineer to modernize and automate database services, building software, APIs, pipelines, and self-service workflows while supporting reliability, security, and production operations across on-premises and cloud environments.
What you’ll do
Build software, automation, APIs, pipelines, and self-service workflows for database platforms
Support reliability, security, and production operations across on-premises and cloud environments
Automate recurring operational procedures into reliable, tested, observable software
Design telemetry and observability using logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents
Modernize and operate database services across the company
What you’ll need
Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
2-4 years of relevant software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, database engineering, or database administration experience
Strong software engineering foundation and proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Java, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong SQL skills and scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or similar
Experience with Git, CI/CD, REST APIs, Terraform, Ansible, or comparable frameworks
Knowledge of one or more database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon RDS/Aurora, or Snowflake
