About the role
Guardian Life is seeking a Principal Solution Architect, Data to define and govern enterprise-wide data and AI-enabled solution architecture, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable, secure solutions.
What you’ll do
Define and govern enterprise-wide solution architecture
Design scalable and secure data and AI-enabled technology solutions
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders
Drive adoption of architecture standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns
Mentor architects and engineers
Produce product-level and team-level technical design documentation
What you’ll need
15+ years in data integration, data architecture, data modeling, data engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise technology
Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms, data products, or analytics capabilities
Strong understanding of data mesh, data products, metadata, governance, and domain-driven design
Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Kafka
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Strong programming and data engineering skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL
