About the role
Cognition is hiring an IT Engineer to own the employee technology experience and scale global IT operations in New York or San Francisco. The role combines hands-on employee and office IT support with improvements to identity, endpoint, infrastructure, and IT service operations through automation and AI-enabled workflows.
What you’ll do

What you’ll need
3+ years in IT engineering, systems administration, or technical support
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience
Experience delivering onsite IT support
Broad familiarity with modern workplace IT with depth in at least two disciplines
Experience with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Zoom, or Microsoft 365
Ability to write scripts in TypeScript, Python, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code
