About the role
Advanced business analyst and QA specialist supporting the South Carolina Department of Social Services by translating operational needs into requirements and validating mission-critical applications. The role requires extensive experience with business process analysis, software testing, and public-sector systems.
What you’ll do
Translate operational needs into business and system requirements
Develop and document business process workflows
Design and execute software test procedures
Track defects and report test results
Validate system functionality for mission-critical applications
Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years in software analysis/testing and developing customized test procedures
5+ years in business process analysis, requirements documentation, workflow development, and stakeholder communication
5+ years with TFS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, MS Project, Balsamiq, Microsoft Office, and legacy systems
Experience with state, federal, and/or local government, including public-sector Economic Services programs (SNAP/TANF) or Early Child Care and Education
Experience with Agile development and test automation
