Altana is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead a small team building AI-powered products for a global trade network, partnering with customers, product, and design to drive adoption. The role requires experience shipping cloud-hosted production code and working with Python ML tooling.
What you’ll do
Lead a small team developing and shipping AI-native products
Partner with customers, product, and design to identify needs
Test hypotheses and drive adoption and measurable outcomes
Deliver incremental releases from proof-of-concept to MVP to production
Maintain engineering excellence, clean code, and knowledge-sharing
What you’ll need
Experience deploying production code to cloud-hosted environments
Experience leading other engineers on complex projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Python ML toolsets (NumPy, Pandas, Dedupe)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Demonstrated experience working on large, complex problems
