About the role
Mercedes-Benz USA seeks an AI/ML Platform Engineer to build and operate shared AI/ML infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and reusable engineering services for machine learning, generative AI, and enterprise analytics. What you’ll do
Build and operate shared AI/ML infrastructure and deployment pipelines
Support machine learning, generative AI, agent-based solutions, and enterprise analytics
Drive platform reliability and architecture standards
Manage model lifecycle, registry, experiment tracking, monitoring, and serving
Develop reusable engineering frameworks and platform services
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders
What you’ll need
8+ years in software engineering, ML engineering, or AI platform engineering
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and distributed data processing
Experience with Azure Databricks and Azure/AWS cloud platforms
Experience with model deployment, MLOps, CI/CD, and production AI operations
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
