About the role
Digital Realty is hiring a Site Engineer II to support daily data center operations in Houston, TX, maintaining and repairing critical electrical and mechanical systems to ensure high availability and SLA compliance.
What you’ll do
Support daily data center operations
Maintain and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems
Manage procedures and incidents
Troubleshoot equipment
Ensure high availability and compliance with customer SLAs
What you’ll need
At least 3 years of mission-critical facilities operations/engineering experience
Hands-on electrical or mechanical skills with competence in the opposite discipline
Strong knowledge of UPS systems, cooling systems, and infrastructure redundancy configurations
Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and emergency escalation processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, or AutoCAD
Ability to lift 50 pounds, work under raised floors, and climb ladders up to 16 feet
