About the role
Spark is seeking a Strategic Finance Lead to own business economics, forecasting, and planning for its Medicare technology platform, turning data into insights that support leadership decisions and new products.
What you’ll do
Own business economics, forecasting, and planning
Provide financial analysis to support leadership decisions and new products
Turn raw, unstructured data into repeatable processes and analyses
Take vague questions to clear recommendations
Communicate with executives, board members, and outside partners
What you’ll need
5–7+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or credit
Excellent financial modeling linking operating drivers to revenue and cash flow
Experience turning unstructured data into repeatable processes with SQL, Power Query, Python, AI tools, or similar
Sound judgment with imperfect data and ability to trace inconsistencies
Clear, concise communication with executives, board members, and outside partners
Experience in insurance, Medicare, fintech, lending, structured finance, credit analysis, or M&A modeling
