About the role
Crux seeks a Senior Manager to lead structuring and execution of tax and preferred equity transactions for renewable energy and energy transition projects. The role combines hands-on modeling and diligence leadership with team development, requiring deep expertise in partnership structures and clean energy finance.
What you’ll do
Screen and underwrite tax equity and preferred equity transactions
Build and maintain complex partnership financial models
Prepare transaction materials and investment memoranda
Coordinate due diligence with independent engineers, tax counsel, and appraisers
Manage transaction execution to closing
Develop and mentor Associates and improve workflows
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
4+ years in renewable energy, structured finance, infrastructure investing, or investment banking
Direct tax equity and/or preferred equity structuring and modeling experience
Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex partnership models from scratch
Experience leading transaction workstreams and coordinating due diligence
FINRA SIE, Series 79, and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain
